Our Mental Health and rehabilitation team, comprising a Consultant Psychiatrist, Clinical Psychologist, three Specialist Mental Health Nurses, six assistant Psychologists and three trained therapists provide the therapy to support our young persons. The work is mainly undertaken in the evenings and weekends, allowing the boys to receive a full individual module of therapy even though sometimes the boys are only with us for four months. We provide court reports and deliver therapy for sex offending treatment, cognitive behavioural therapy, self-harming, anger management, substance misuse counselling, prevention of re-offending work, knives and guns, arson therapy, self-esteem development, victim awareness counselling, social skills enhancement, anti-bullying and assertiveness, family therapy and restorative justice conferencing. Our special programme for young people with Learning Difficulties, Autism, ADAD and ADH with an intensive daily 1:1 reading to fast track those skills. We are able to manage very aggressive and violent behaviour with our special trained staff in our programme for maximum engagement.
